27 January 2010: Bran Nue Dae wow, did I forget to post about seeing this movie? must have been because it was such a forgettable experience for me. did not enjoy this movie much at all. Geoffrey Rush was impeccable, Ernie Dingo was great, the other actors were bearable but I couldn’t help but cringe and scoff and groan throughout the entire thing. I love musicals, I really do! but this one was simply too far-fetched, too borderline on embarrassing and stereotypical. the songs were okay, the music was okay. I’m glad it was short, I’m glad it didn’t cost more than $7.50.
